This is a real quick live-recorded demo of a song I've been working on. Still working out some kinks, but here's the way it stands right now.

I met you in a field of faces and you gave me a horse

I saw a piece of me in you and I wanted to follow it

So we set off over the darkened land

Through the days and miles we rode on

Through an endless valley ever blackening

We rode on, and I couldn't feel you beside me

So I called out to you, "Where is your heart?

And I was hunted down by questions

And then I found I was chasing you

I caught a glimpse of your face every hundredth frame or so

Running through the reels, and always in the same direction

Where, where is your heart?

I met you in a sea of faces and you gave me a boat

When I set sail, I don't expect to see you on it.
